FINAL UPDATE: JUNE 22, 2010
Ian and I are elated to report that a total of $2,621 was generously donated from the celebration of Justine and Phil's beautiful wedding. This amount will go in full to the new operations of the school for orphans and vulnerable children at our SCC*F2F Community Centre in Battambang, Cambodia.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for all your warm support. We cannot do what we do without the generosity of people like you.
And of course, our love to Justine and Phil. We respect, admire, and congratulate you a thousand times over.

SO FAR, $1,020 HAS BEEN RAISED -- A HUGE THANKS TO PHIL COX, JOYCE CRAWLEY, LISA AND JONATHAN COPLAND, AND EMMA HAMMOND FOR THEIR SUPPORT!
WE'RE HOPING TO RAISE ANOTHER $3,000 SO THAT THE SCHOOL FOR ORPHANS AT THE CENTRE WILL BECOME A REALITY. YOUR SUPPORT WILL ENABLE US TO OPEN THIS VERY SPECIAL SCHOOL AT THE END OF MAY 2010. WITH MUCH APPRECIATION, IAN KEARNEY & KEN WONG, THE FACE-TO-FACE AIDS PROJECT
APRIL 2010
Congratulations for a joyous celebration of two most remarkable people
The Face-to-Face AIDS Project is honored to accept donations on behalf of Justine & Phil's May 2010 wedding. As a nonprofit Brooklyn-based organization that supports people and communities affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty in Cambodia and Malawi, Face-to-Face has been blessed to be beneficiaries of Justine & Phil's generosity in the past — their donations have already supported quality schooling for many orphans and vulnerable children.
In celebration of the wedding, we have set up a special fund to support a new education center for children who struggle to attend public schools because of poverty and HIV. This education center is located at the recently completed SCC*F2F Community Centre for people affected by HIV and poverty, and is located on the grounds of a Buddhist temple in Battambang, Cambodia. With your support, we hope to open the school program at the Centre in the beginning of June 2010.
Here is a short video of Ian Kearney, chairman of the board of Face-to-Face and good friend of Justine and Phil, introducing the school and three children (two HIV-positive orphans and one vulnerable child) who hope to attend the school.

SUGGESTIONS ON HOW you can make this school program's opening a reality:
*for US$15 a month ($180 a year), you can help support a program officer for the school program in Battambang
*for US$1 a day ($30 a month/$360 a year), you can send an orphan or vulnerable
child to the school program in Battambang
*for US2 a day ($60 a month/$720 a year), you can help support a school teacher at the Community Centre in Battambang
WHEN YOU CONTRIBUTE through Face-to-Face, your generosity bypasses middlemen and bureaucracy and goes directly to work on the ground. For charity to be effective, Face-to-Face believes that support must rise up from the community level rather than trickle down from above.
Join us in transforming your support into catalysts of hope for real people — people who’ve suffered so much and yet are determined to better their own lives and those in their communities. You’ll know that you’ve made a long-lasting difference.
